Our Commitment

CareBridge Connect is built for families — including grandparents, adult children, and care team members with a wide range of abilities, devices, and comfort with technology. Accessibility is a product requirement for us, not an afterthought: if a family member can’t read an update about their loved one, the product has failed at its one job.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our marketing site and the CareBridge Connect application, and we review new features against these guidelines as part of our development process.

What We Do

  • Readable by default: body text is never smaller than 16px, and text colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Keyboard navigation: interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Screen reader support: semantic HTML, labeled form fields, and alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Touch-friendly targets: buttons and controls meet minimum touch-target sizes on mobile devices.
  • Reduced motion: animations respect the “prefers reduced motion” setting on your device.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is continuous work. We audit our interfaces on a regular basis, prioritize fixes for any issues that block core tasks, and treat accessibility feedback from families and facility staff with the same urgency as any other product defect.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere in CareBridge Connect — or have a suggestion that would make it work better for you — please email security@carebridgeconnect.ai with the subject “Accessibility feedback.” We respond within two business days.
